The equines below are ready for their forever homes, or are being assessed and will be ready soon! Many of them also would benefit from a foster home where they could receive more individualized care. Please use the link below to apply to adopt or foster. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a time for a meet and greet!

Please note that we do require a fee for adoption. This fee helps to cover the equine's auction fee (if applicable), feed, vetting and farrier work. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit, so all funds go back into the care of our horses!
Vulcan is a gelding and stands about 15.2hhs. During his dental the vet estimated him to be 15yrs old. He came to us from auction and was quite thin but has put on weight great! He has been vetted and received vaccines, had a teeth float and has a negative coggins. He is also up to date on farrier work. He is barefoot. He is sound, no issues! He’s a sweet horse and does well with other horses in a herd setting.
Vulcan has been in a foster for a couple months and has done great! He had an evaluation ride and did well under saddle but has clearly had some time off so needs consistency to get back into a riding routine! But no dangerous habits (bolt, buck, rear) and we think would do excellent with a confident rider who put some more miles on him. He knows some ground work, it again needs more consistency and someone confident to work with him. He would be suited for a confident intermediate to advanced rider. He’s got everything in him to make someone an excellent mount!
*Feb 2024 Update - Vulcan has unfortunately tested positive for EPM. He is currently being treated and will continue to be assessed.
*July 2024 Update - After completing his treatment, Vulcan was reassessed as riding sound!

Finlay is a beautiful 18yr old Appaloosa mare. She came to us emaciated but thankfully has put on lots of weight in her wonderful foster home. Finlay is a very sweet and social horse. She is easy to handle and likes people. She does well with other horses and currently lives in a herd. Finlay would do best as a companion horse due to dropped pasterns in her hind legs.
Adoption Fee: Waived at this time for companion horses.
Blue Jeans is an AQHA mare who is a gorgeous perlino. She is also a sweet mare. She was a kids 4H horse and could probably still do lead line for short sessions, but not an adult rider. Blue Jeans has muscle atrophy in her top line. Any riding would require good pad/saddle fitting. Blue Jeans is looking for a foster or adoptive home.
Adoption Fee: Waived at this time for companion horses.
Cheyenne is a 16-18yr old American Saddlebred registered. She came in with a large owner surrender case where we partnered with several other rescues. She came to us thin and a with a foal on her side. Now that her foal has been weaned and adopted, it’s her turn to start the journey to her forever home! Cheyenne is very sweet and likes to get scratches from her people. She leads okay. She has not had her feet trimmed in a VERY long time and needs consistent work picking up her feet so that this can be done asap. She is the only horse from this group that is said to have riding experience and been shown in her younger years. If that’s true, she will certainly need a refresher. She has done well in a herd setting living out on pasture and gets along with other horses.
We recently learned that Cheyenne's registered name with ASHBA is Golden Sands!
Adoption Fee: $1500
Kindle is a 10-13yr old American Saddlebred registered. She also came in with a large owner surrender case where we partnered with several other rescues. She came to us very thin, but has gained weight well!
Kindle needs a foster who can continue to work on building her trust in humans! She would benefit from additional practice leading, and has not had her feet trimmed in a VERY long time so needs consistent work picking up her feet so that this can be done asap. Once Kindle is more trusting, we will be able to further assess her training needs!

Keahi needs a foster who can continue to work on building her trust in humans! She would benefit from additional practice haltering and leading, and has not had her feet trimmed in a VERY long time so needs consistent work picking up her feet so that this can be done asap. Ash is a gorgeous mare who is around 14yrs old and is about 14.2hh She is good on the ground and leads well, loads, stands for the farrier, etc. Ash came to us from Animal Control after being abandoned by her owner. She had 30 days of training in March for a tune up and did very well! Unfortunately she had to recover from a hoof injury since coming back to the rescue but now is moving great again! Ash would make a nice trail horse and enjoyed trail riding and obstacles. She is suited for an intermediate rider. She has no bad habits but she does need a consistent rider who is going to work with her several days a week. She requires more riding time and consistency to meet her full potential. She is a sweet mare and has a great personality. She gets along well in a mixed herd and is middle of the pecking order. She is an easy keeper. She is up to date with vaccines, farrier work, and dental. We have several videos posted of her from her training back in March and also have videos from her most recent evaluation we can share if interested.
Adoption Fee: $1400
